| אני מצייר כוכבים גלקסיות וערפיליות בהשראת טלסקופ החלל 'האבל' שנשלח ע"י נאסא לחקר החלל העמוק. ככל שאני נכנס יותר לעומקו של החלל כך מתמזערת חתימתי בשולי הציור, כשאנחנו מדברים על היקום, אנחנו מערבים גדלים וממדים שאינם במישור האנושי, המרחקים, האנרגיות, הזמן הכמעט אינסופי, הינם מעבר לתפישת אנוש ובכלזאת היו וישנם מדענים ושוחרי מדע בהיסטוריה האנושית שלא מפסיקים לשאול את עצמם, מהו המקור לכל הבריאה העצומה הזאת? |

Theodor barr's art is motivated from the deep space photos sent to earth by the HUBBLE telescope. Like Casper friedriech, barr's paintings captures the mesmerizing essence of darkness, this is the main reason why he chooses tar as the basic layer for his current works. Barr unique technique combines oil acrylic and lac lasur that with tar creates original and outstanding configuration. Barr world moves between light and darkness, full and emptiness, creation and destruction, barr reaches the end of the universe in search of the complete darkness of the inner space and the glimmering light of the brightest stars. Barr works are spread on big canvases and prints an imression of magic realism in a unique bizarre and colorfull world.

Each observer of barr's paintings would react differently but non would remain indifferent, barr's art is sensual in the sense of total freedom. There is a basic composition and then a feeling that an outer vibrant force flows on the big canvases to create imaginative scenes in a totally new art style. The usage of tar in his paintings empower the sensation of infinity one has when looking at those unique paintings.
